I've dealt with many people who take anti-oxidant supplements thinking it would help them or better yet 'detox' the body. For those who use such supplements, unfortunately the evidence is weak supporting the use of anti-oxidant supplements. Rather, eating a varied and balanced diet including whole foods, vitamins and minerals (from the foods shown) is shown to be the best way to get anti-oxidants and also in the right ratios and proportions that your body needs. Be careful with the wine though! Limit your consumption to 1-2 glasses/week.
