Probiotics.

The gut is host to approximately 100 trillion bacteria. The trillions of bacteria found in the gut are combination of good and bad bacteria, and of course, we want to be ingesting the gut with good bacteria to boost our health and well-being.

Maintaining a healthy guy, then, is extremely important due to the copious amounts of bacteria present. One simple yet highly effective strategy of doing so is through probiotics supplementation. Probiotics has been shown in the literature to improve various aspects of the gut, which I will be explaining here in more detail:

1. Improves Food Digestion

Probiotics pump the gut with good bacteria. The more of these good bacteria present in our gut, the better the gut functions. In other words, the digestion of foods improves, meaning our gut may better absorb and distribute the nutrients from the foods we eat.

At the same time, those suffering from Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), diarrhea, or any other digestive problems may greatly benefit from supplementing with probiotics. Indeed, probiotics can help regulate bowel movements while also easing bloating and feelings of gassiness.

2. Boosts the Immune System

Through enhancing the gut’s ability to digest and absorb nutrients from food, especially vitamins and minerals, probiotics can boost the immune system. The gut is part of the intestinal defense barrier, so creating a positive gut environment through more good bacteria will help boost the immune system as well.

Also, the gut produces K and B vitamins – those of which are essential to are overall health and well-being. Having said that, keeping a healthy and strong gut will allow more production of K and B vitamins, which in turn, will boost the immune system.

3. Helps with Lactose Intolerance

The fundamental problem with those who are lactose intolerant arises from the body’s inability to sufficiently produce the lactase enzyme. By helping the gut reproduce lactase, you may be better able to tolerate lactose.

Probiotics help the gut do so. By producing good and healthy bacteria, probiotics will enhance gut digestion an even production of good bacteria that will aid with lactose intolerance.

In combination, the aforementioned benefits of supplementing with probiotics will significantly enhance and strengthen gut function. By producing more ‘good’ bacteria, the gut will be surrounded in a much healthier and stronger environment, which can fight off digestion problems and infections – thereby boosting your immune system and making you feel great!

Believe me, if there is one thing that determines how healthy you are and how good you feel, it’s a strong and healthy gut. Take the first step to a better gut health and start supplementing with probiotics!
